LinkedIn Games Solvers & Help — Queens, Tango, Zip

Stuck on today’s puzzle, or trying to get genuinely fast? These free tools solve any Queens, Tango, or Zip board you enter — and teach the logic while they’re at it. Every solver runs in your browser, works only on boards you type in yourself, and costs nothing.

Queens Solver

One crown per row, column, and color region — no two touching.

Paint your board's color regions with the built-in painter, then solve instantly or step through human-style deductions one hint at a time. Handles every grid size from 6×6 to 11×11.

Tango Solver

Balance suns and moons — three per row, no triples, mind the signs.

Click in your suns, moons, and =/× signs on the 6×6 grid and get the complete solution plus a uniqueness check, powered by the same counting and sandwich logic strong players use.

Open the Tango Solver
Zip Solver

One path through every cell, hitting the numbers in order.

Drop the numbered dots, draw the walls, and watch the full path animate across the board. A pruned Hamiltonian-path search solves even 8×8 boards in a blink.

Practice Without the Once-a-Day Limit

The fastest way to improve at any LinkedIn game is volume — and one board a day isn’t volume. Each LinkedIn game has a free, unlimited PuzzlePage equivalent that exercises exactly the same solving muscles:

Queens Star Battle

Queens is a single-star Star Battle — identical rules, one star per row, column, and region. Play unlimited free Star Battle puzzles here, from easy boards to two-star grids.

Mini Sudoku Sudoku & daily Sudoku

The same scanning and elimination logic at full 9×9 scale — play unlimited boards or take on our daily puzzle.

Pinpoint Connections Unlimited

Pinpoint is category guessing under pressure. Grouping words by hidden categories in Connections is the closest practice you can get, with unlimited free boards.

Crossclimb Word Ladder

Crossclimb's core mechanic is a word ladder — change one letter at a time. Build the same intuition with our free word ladder puzzles.

The LinkedIn Games Lineup

LinkedIn added daily games to its feed in 2024, and they quickly became a fixture of millions of morning routines. The lineup centers on quick, logic-first puzzles: Queens, a region-based crown-placement puzzle solved by pure elimination; Tango, a sun-and-moon binary puzzle built on balance and no-three-in-a-row rules; Zip, a draw-one-path puzzle where the line must cover every cell while hitting numbered checkpoints in order; Pinpoint, a word game where five clues share a hidden category; Crossclimb, a trivia-flavored word ladder; and a compact Mini Sudoku. Each publishes exactly one puzzle per day, everyone in the world gets the same board, and your solve time is compared against your connections — which is precisely why the games are so sticky, and why being slow at them stings a little.

All three of the logic games share a satisfying property: every board has exactly one solution, reachable without guessing. That means there is always a chain of clean deductions from the starting position to the finished grid — you never have to “try something and see.” Finding that chain is the whole game.

What a Solver Is Actually Good For

A solver that just hands you the answer teaches you nothing — which is why each of these tools is built to show its work. The Queens solver has a hint mode that reveals one deduction at a time with the relevant cells highlighted, so you see whya region confined to one row wipes out the rest of that row. The Tango solver verifies that your board has a unique solution, which instantly tells you whether you copied the givens correctly. The Zip solver’s explainer breaks down the corner, funnel, and parity arguments that let you rule out whole families of paths at a glance. Use them the way you’d use a chess engine: get unstuck, then study the move you missed.

And when you want raw repetitions, skip the daily limit entirely. The practice games above are free and unlimited — ten Star Battle boards will do more for your Queens time than any answer key ever could.

A Note on Fair Play

These solvers operate only on boards you enter by hand. They don’t connect to LinkedIn, don’t scrape daily puzzles, and don’t publish answer keys. If you’re racing friends on solve time, solve honestly — then come back here to learn the technique you were missing.
