Plain English: every puzzle you generate on PuzzlePage is yours. Use it at home, in your classroom, or in products you sell — including Amazon KDP puzzle books. No royalties, no attribution requirement, no fine-print surprises.

What the license covers
- You own your output. Word lists and themes you enter stay yours, and the generated puzzles, grids, solutions, and PDFs are yours to reproduce, distribute, and sell worldwide.
- Commercial rights are included free. You do not need a paid plan to have commercial rights. Plus adds watermark-free pages, Word export, styling, and 100-puzzle batch export; Publisher and Pro add the Book Builder and Cover Studio for book production.
- No attribution required. Free PDFs carry a small footer credit line; Plus, Publisher and Pro remove it for clean book interiors.
- No royalties, ever. Sell one book or ten thousand — nothing is owed to PuzzlePage.
Covers, backgrounds and AI content Beta
- The free background library is yours to sell with. The 35 backgrounds in the Cover Studio are drawn in-house by PuzzlePage. They are royalty-free for commercial use, including Amazon KDP covers, with no licence to buy and no attribution to add.
- AI artwork and text may be used commercially. Cover artwork, word lists, back-cover copy and listings generated with your AI credits are covered by this same licence. Amazon KDP requires you to disclose AI-generated images or text when you upload, and the Studio reminds you which applies to your book.
- These features are in beta. Please tell us what breaks. Every report is read by a person.
The only restrictions
- Don't resell or sublicense access to the PuzzlePage service itself.
- Don't scrape or automate the service in ways that overload it.
- Don't use it to produce unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.

License FAQ
Can I sell puzzle books made with PuzzlePage on Amazon KDP?
Yes. Puzzles you generate with PuzzlePage may be published and sold commercially, including in Amazon KDP paperback and ebook puzzle books, on Etsy, on Teachers Pay Teachers, and in printed products. No royalties, no per-book fees.
Do I need to credit PuzzlePage in my book or worksheet?
No attribution is required for the puzzles themselves. Free PDF downloads include a small PuzzlePage credit line in the footer; the Plus, Publisher and Pro plans remove it for fully unbranded, print-ready pages.
Can teachers use these puzzles in paid course materials?
Yes. Classroom handouts, homeschool curricula, tutoring packets, and paid educational materials are all covered, whether you share them free or sell them.
Is there a limit on how many puzzles I can sell?
No. Generate as many puzzles as you need (free sessions cover 5 at a time, 10 with a verified email, and the Plus, Publisher and Pro plans raise batch export to 100) and sell every one of them.
Can I use the free cover backgrounds and AI artwork on a KDP cover?
Yes. The free background library in the Cover Studio is drawn in-house by PuzzlePage and is royalty-free for commercial use, including Amazon KDP covers, with no attribution required. AI-generated artwork and text from the Studio may be used commercially under the same licence. What can't I do with PuzzlePage puzzles?
You cannot resell access to the PuzzlePage service itself, claim the generator software as your own, or use the service to produce unlawful or harmful content. The puzzles are yours; the tool stays ours.
