A bubble sheet (also called an answer sheet or, generically, a Scantron-style sheet) is a numbered grid of lettered bubbles that test-takers fill in to record multiple-choice answers. It separates answering from grading — you can hand-check a class set in minutes against a key, or scan the sheets with your own optical-mark tools. Our generator builds a clean, print-ready sheet for any test length, with an optional filled answer key.
How to Make an Answer Sheet with PuzzlePage
- Set the number of questions — anywhere from 1 to 100 rows, or tap a quick preset (10, 20, 25, 50, 100).

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make a bubble answer sheet?
Choose how many questions you need and how many options each has (A–F), then download the PDF. Each numbered row gets a set of lettered bubbles for students to fill in, with a name-and-date header at the top.
How many questions and options can I have?
Up to 100 questions per sheet, each with 2 to 6 options. Choose A–F letters, ACT-style F–G–H–J labels, or True/False. The rows are automatically split into columns so the sheet uses the full page width; you can also set the column count yourself.
Can I add name, student ID, and version fields?
Yes. Toggle on any of Name, Student ID, Class/Section, Period, Teacher, and Score, plus a Test Version (A–D) bubble so you can hand out shuffled forms and stop copying. Premium adds a bubbled student-ID grid and a numeric grid-in section for math answers.
Can it make an answer key?
Yes. Paste your correct answers (for example “ABCDA…”, “A B C D”, or “1. A 2. B”) and the PDF adds a separate answer-key page with the correct bubbles filled in. Leave it blank for just the student sheet.
Is this Scantron-compatible?
It produces a standard printable bubble/answer sheet you can hand-grade or scan with your own tools. It is not affiliated with Scantron® and isn’t guaranteed to work with any specific proprietary optical-mark reader.
