- The free sheet stops at 50 questions, which covers a quiz and a unit test. A final, a NEET or SAT practice form, or a 100-row benchmark needs two sheets stapled together.
- With Classroom
- One sheet, up to 200 questions, laid out in up to five columns so a 100-question form still fits one page. The 60-, 75-, 100-, 150- and 200-question presets all open straight into it.
Build and preview any length free; Classroom unlocks the download. The rows are numbered straight through and grouped in fives, the answer key page follows the same order, and scan marks and the ID grid work at every length.
Class packs
Paste the roster. Get the whole class in one print job.

- You print 30 identical blank sheets and spend the first two minutes of the period watching everyone fill in a header.
- With Classroom
- One PDF, one sheet per student, up to 200 of them. The name is printed on the Name rule instead of a blank line, and the ID is written in the boxes and bubbled in the grid.
Names paste in one per line, as First Last or Last, First, and a column of ID numbers is picked up automatically. The pack ends with a teacher's roster page listing every student, their ID and which form they were given. Reprint it for an absentee and they get exactly the sheet they would have had — assignment is worked out from the roster, not reshuffled.
Student ID grid

- A blank grid of ten rows per digit, filled in by hand by a fourteen-year-old, checked by you.
- With Classroom
- A column of 0–9 per digit, four to eight digits wide, with the right bubble already marked on every student's sheet — and the grid widens rather than dropping leading digits if an ID runs longer than you asked for.
This is the part that makes a stack of paper machine-readable at all: a reader identifies the student from the grid, not from the handwriting. Turn it on without a roster and you get the empty grid, which is what you want for a make-up test.
Shuffled versions

- Up to 4 forms of the same test. On version B, C and D the correct answer sits on a different letter for every question, each version prints its own answer key, and each sheet is stamped with its version letter.
Set a class pack to alternate and the forms run A B A B down the roster, so no two neighbours share an answer pattern — hand the pack out in order and the pattern happens by itself. To be precise about what this does: it moves the correct answer to a different bubble, it does not reorder your questions.
Mixed sections
One sheet that matches the test you actually wrote.

- Two documents: a bubble sheet for Part I and a lined page for the written half, both to be stapled and both to be lost separately.
- With Classroom
- Up to 6 blocks on one page, in your order — multiple choice, true/false, SAT-style grid-in math, short answer, ruled essay boxes, and rubric rows — each under its own printed heading and rule.
Every block opens with a rule and a subheading you name (“Part 2: True or False”), so students can see where one section ends and the next begins. Multiple-choice numbering runs continuously across the blocks, the way a real exam booklet numbers straight through Part I and Part II, so question 21 on the sheet is question 21 on the test. A grid-in block takes 4 to 12 questions, each 3 to 6 digit columns wide.
OMR Pro
A sheet a scanner can actually read — and the map to read it with.

- Every free answer sheet on the web hedges about whether it 'works with a scanner'. Four corner squares do not make a page machine-readable; a reader also has to know where the bubbles are.
- With Classroom
- A left-edge timing track, a locked bubble pitch, and a downloadable scan template: page size, registration marks, and the exact centre of every bubble in points from the top-left.
With that file, FormScanner, Remark, or your own OpenCV script can find the four corners, solve the perspective transform and sample at those coordinates — photograph to score. There is no grader built into PuzzlePage, and this page will not pretend otherwise. Corner marks plus a QR code of the key are free; the timing track and the template are the Classroom half.
Clean PDF & editable Word
Your sheet, your school's name, nobody else's.

- A "Made with PuzzlePage.app" line in the footer, and a PDF you cannot edit when the department wants the instructions reworded.
- With Classroom
- A clean PDF with no credit line and no QR, plus an editable Word export that opens in Word — and in Google Docs through File then Open — with the text still editable.
Open the Word file and change the title, the instruction line or a header field without rebuilding anything. To be clear about which side of the line these sit on: your school name, your logo, three header fields of your own and your own instruction wording in English or Spanish are all free already. What Classroom buys here is our name coming off the page, and the editable file.
Saved sheets
Build the Unit 4 test once. Reopen it next February.

- Save a sheet to your account and reopen it any time. Free accounts keep 3; Classroom raises that to 200, which is more sheets than a school year has weeks.
Saving over a sheet of the same name updates it rather than making a second copy, so iterating on 'Unit 4 Test' does not eat your shelf. Saved sheets live against the account, so they survive a new laptop.

That scoping is why this one is $19 and not a site-wide subscription.

Honestly
Who this is for, and who should keep their money
Buy it if
- The same class sits the same shape of test again and again — unit tests, mid-terms, weekly quizzes.
- You want A and B forms but have skipped them because two keys and a note about who sat which is more bookkeeping than it is worth.
- You run standardised-test practice and want the ID-bubbling to become routine before the real thing.
- You tutor or teach test prep and hand out practice sections week after week.
- You want the credit line off the sheet, or the sheet in Word so a colleague can edit it.
Do not buy it if
- You need a blank bubble sheet now and then. The free maker already does that — 50 questions, an answer key, unlimited printing — and it will keep doing it.
- What you want is a phone that grades the stack. We print the geometry and publish the template; we do not read the sheets. ZipGrade does, for $6.99 a year.
- You are here for puzzle books, shaped word searches or KDP interiors. That is a different plan on the pricing page.
- Your department needs one licence across several teachers, or a purchase order instead of a card. There is no multi-seat plan today — ask us first rather than buying and hoping.
