How Uno scoring works
Most people play Uno one hand at a time, but the official rules keep score. When a player goes out, they collect points for every card left in the other players' hands: face value for number cards, 20 for each Draw Two, Reverse and Skip, and 50 for each Wild and Wild Draw Four. Only the winner of the hand scores.
Keeping it moving
Write zero for everyone except the hand's winner, and carry the totals down. Games to 500 usually take ten to fifteen hands with four players.
