Writing down a Farkle turn
Each turn you set aside scoring dice and either bank the points or keep rolling. Write the banked points in the score column and add them to the running total beside it. If you roll and nothing scores, that's a farkle: you lose the points from that turn, so write a 0 (many players write an F) and carry the total down unchanged.
Why the scoring chart is printed
Farkle is played with a lot of house rules. Some groups score four of a kind as double three of a kind, some need 500 to get on the board. The chart shows the most common values; agree on any changes before the first roll and jot them in the margin.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many points do you need to win Farkle?
10,000 is standard. When a player reaches it, every other player gets one final turn to pass them.
What does three pairs score in Farkle?
1,500 in the most common rules. Two triplets usually score 2,500 and a 1-6 straight 1,500.
Can I print two Farkle sheets per page?
Yes. Choose 2 sheets per page and cut the page in half. The scoring chart is left off the half sheets to make room.
Printing tips
- Print a stack. Set Pages in PDF to 10 or 20 and keep a pad in the game box.
- Large print for easier reading. Bigger type and taller rows help older players and anyone scoring across the table.
- Landscape for big groups. With six or more players, landscape gives every column more room to write.
