Printable Hand and Foot Score Sheet

Hand and Foot scoring has two parts, the bonus for books and going out and the points for cards played, so each team gets a column for both. The opening meld for each round is printed in the row label.

Meld minimums by round

The opening meld gets harder each round: 50 points in round one, 90 in round two, 120 in round three and 150 in round four. They're printed in the row labels because it's the rule people forget most often by the third round.

Adding up a round

Write the bonus points (books and going out) in the Books column and the value of the cards in your melds in the Cards column. Subtract the cards still in your hand and foot from the Cards figure, then add the two for the round. Groups vary a lot on red 3s and wild card books, so jot your rules on the sheet.

Printing tips

  • Print a stack. Set Pages in PDF to 10 or 20 and keep a pad in the game box.
  • Large print for easier reading. Bigger type and taller rows help older players and anyone scoring across the table.
  • Landscape for big groups. With six or more players, landscape gives every column more room to write.
