Scoring a hole

Each player has six cards in two rows. When the hand ends, flip everything face up and add up your cards. Two cards of the same rank in a column cancel to zero, which is why pairs are worth chasing. Low cards, 2s and Kings are the goal.

Nine holes or eighteen

A round of nine holes is the usual game. For a longer evening, print two pages and play the back nine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is low score better in the Golf card game?

Yes. Like real golf, the lowest total after nine holes wins.

What are Kings worth in Golf?

0 in the most common rules. 2s are often minus 2.

Can I use this for four-card or nine-card Golf?

Yes. The scoring rows work for any version; just follow your own card values.

Printing tips

  • Print a stack. Set Pages in PDF to 10 or 20 and keep a pad in the game box.
  • Large print for easier reading. Bigger type and taller rows help older players and anyone scoring across the table.
  • Landscape for big groups. With six or more players, landscape gives every column more room to write.
