How to export your KDP cover and listing and upload to Amazon

Step by step

1. 1Open the Cover check: wrap size, spine text (allowed from 79 pages), artwork resolution and the barcode zone.
2. 2Keep the 2″ × 1.2″ barcode area on the back cover empty — Amazon prints its barcode there.
3. 3On the Publisher plan, download the paperback cover PDF and the ebook cover JPG.
4. 4Click Download listing pack for your title, subtitle, 7 keywords, categories, description and exact spine numbers.
5. 5Or click Write listing with AI · 1 credit, read every field, and copy each one into KDP.
6. 6Check royalties, page count and spine width with the free calculators at puzzlepage.app/kdp/tools.
7. 7On KDP, upload the interior PDF as the manuscript and the paperback cover PDF, matching trim, paper and bleed.
8. 8Answer the AI-content question honestly, set a price and press Publish.
