How to set your KDP puzzle book's title, subtitle, author and trim size

Step by step

1. 1Type a title that says what the book is and who it's for — Amazon searches it.
2. 2If your title says large print, click Turn it on so every word inside prints at 16pt or bigger.
3. 3Add a subtitle with the specifics: how many puzzles, the print size, solutions included.
4. 4Add your name or a pen name; it prints on the copyright page.
5. 5Open Trim size: 6″ × 9″ is the classic and cheapest to print; 8.5″ × 11″ gives large print room.
6. 6Choose the same trim on KDP, because your cover is built to it.
7. 7Build the outline: margins, the title page, the copyright page and page numbers are automatic.
8. 8On KDP's form, enter exactly the same title, subtitle, author and trim.
