Yes, and it is worth saying exactly how, because the 78 decks were checked two different ways. 5,420 cards across 30 decks were read end to end by subject-matter specialists — a chemist on the periodic table, an anatomist on the bones and muscles, a physicist on the formulas, a phonetician on the homophones. That audit made real corrections, including restating every physics formula to carry the conditions that make it true, and one deck on US civics was withdrawn from sale entirely because it taught a superseded edition of the citizenship test. The other 1,758 cards across 48 decks were built the other way round: every card cites two independent published sources, a script refuses the card if the two disagree, and a second specialist then re-verified them from sources of their own.

What happens if I cancel Study Pack?

Why pay for flashcards when free ones exist

Because free sets are free for a reason: nobody is accountable for them. The cost of a wrong card is not $2.99 — it is the twenty minutes spent memorising something false and the mark lost using it. Anki is a scheduling engine with no cards in it. Quizlet is a place where anyone can publish a set, which is why one search returns forty sets that disagree with each other. Neither company checks the facts, because on their model the cards are not theirs. These are ours.

Four things the audit found

In our own product, before it went on sale. This is the closest thing to proof we can offer, and it is a record of us finding fault with ourselves.

Physics formulas: Every formula was algebraically correct, and every one was stated without the conditions that make it true. v = v₀ + at holds only for constant acceleration. All of them were corrected to carry their conditions.
Financial literacy: The return-on-investment card carried a formula that returned −80% when you ran it on the card’s own example numbers. Found before sale, fixed before sale.
US civics: The deck taught the 2008 citizenship test after USCIS had moved applicants to the newer edition. It was withdrawn from sale rather than patched, which is why you cannot buy it here.
Dolch and Fry sight words: Checked against the published lists and found identical, level labels and all — and every Fry card sits at its true frequency rank. Verified rather than assumed.
