Why the letters are drawn, not typed
Most name tracing generators print a font with the color turned down. The problem is proportion: school manuscript puts the midline exactly halfway between the top and bottom lines, and no ordinary font does. The small letters end up floating above the dashed line children are taught to touch. The letters here are built from the same strokes handwriting programmes teach — pull down, circle back, slant — so every letter lands on the guides and the dotted path is the path the pencil should follow.
