How the daily Strands-style game works

Every letter on the board is part of exactly one answer, and all the answers share a hidden theme revealed by the day's clue. Trace an answer by dragging across connected letters — across, down, or diagonally — or by tapping tiles one at a time and tapping the last tile to submit.

Strategy tips

  1. Start from the clue. Brainstorm words that fit the theme, then hunt for their letters on the board.
  2. Look for the spangram early. It touches two opposite sides, so scan the edges for a long theme word.
  3. Trace in any direction. Words wind diagonally and can double back — follow unusual paths.
  4. Use a hint to break a logjam. Revealing one starting tile often unlocks the rest of the board.
