Tips for learning division facts 0–12
- Teach division alongside multiplication, not after: 56 ÷ 7 = 8 is the same fact as 7 × 8 = 56.
- Nothing can be divided by zero, so there is no ÷ 0 card. 0 divided by any other number is 0, and those cards are in.
- Any number divided by 1 is itself, and any number divided by itself is 1 — that is 24 of the 156 cards with no new facts to learn.
How many pages the 156 cards print on
The answers print on the back. The PDF puts an answer page straight after each page of questions, so printed double-sided, each sheet of paper has questions on one side and their answers on the other.

Printing the answers on the back
- Open the print dialog and turn on two-sided (duplex) printing.
- Choose flip on long edge (sometimes called long-edge binding). The pages are portrait, and each answer page reverses the order of every row, so the answer to the top-left card prints behind the top-left card.
- Don’t pick “flip on short edge” — it puts the answers behind the wrong cards.
- Print the first sheet, hold it up to a window to check, then print the rest and cut.
No duplex printer? Turn the answer backs off in the maker and print fronts only, or print the odd pages, put the stack back in the tray, and print the even pages. Printers feed differently, so test with one sheet first.

Division Facts 0–12 flash cards — questions people ask
How many division facts are there from 0 to 12?
156: 12 divisors (1 through 12), each with 13 answers (0 through 12). There is no divide-by-zero card, because dividing by zero has no answer.
Why is there a 0 ÷ 7 card but no 7 ÷ 0 card?
Zero divided by any number is 0 — share nothing among 7 people and each gets nothing. But no number times 0 gives 7, so 7 ÷ 0 has no answer and is not a fact to memorize.
What is the biggest number on these cards?
144 ÷ 12 = 12. Every dividend is a product from the 1–12 times tables, so the largest is 12 × 12 = 144.
How many pages do the division facts 0–12 flash cards print on?
156 cards. At 6 cards per page that is 26 sheets of paper printed double-sided (52 pages in the PDF); at 9 per page it is 18 sheets. Two cards a page makes big cards for the front of the room; nine a page saves paper.
How do I print the answers on the back?
Print double-sided and choose "flip on long edge" (some printers call it long-edge binding). Each answer page reverses the order of every row, so when the sheet flips, every answer lands behind its own question. Flipping on the short edge puts answers behind the wrong cards, so check one sheet before you cut.
Can I take out the facts my child already knows?
