How to print sight word lists, flash cards and bingo cards by grade

Step by step

1. 1Open Sight Words by Grade and pick a grade: kindergarten (92 words), first (123), second (133) or third (130).
2. 2Or scroll to Every list at a glance and open a single Dolch or Fry list, such as Dolch Pre-Primer (40 words).
3. 3Check the full list: every word is numbered, and the page is free to print with Print this list.
4. 4Click Print flash cards. The Flash Card Maker opens with all 40 words loaded, one card per word.
5. 5Under Cards per page, choose 2, 4, 6, 8 or 9 cards a page, then download the PDF (the first time, bigger decks ask for your email once — free).
6. 6Back on the list, click Make bingo cards: the same words load into the Bingo Card Generator with the Classroom — Sight Words (K–2) template.
7. 7Click Generate cards — every card is shuffled differently — or use Make a word search for a word search from the same list.

Here's how to print sight words, in about a minute. Start on the Sight Words page. Each grade shows how many words it covers, from kindergarten to third grade. Or scroll down and pick a single list. Let's open Dolch Pre-Primer. Here are all forty words. It's free to print, and so is everything you'll see next. Click Print flash cards. The flash card maker opens with all forty words already loaded. Choose how many cards fit on a page. Four makes them nice and big. Then download it. Bigger decks just ask for your email, once. Now head back to the list, and click Make bingo cards. The same forty words drop into the bingo maker, with the sight words template already picked. Press Generate cards, and every card comes out shuffled differently. One list, and you've got flash cards, bingo cards, even a word search. All ready for the classroom, or the kitchen table.
