How to make a printable maze

Step by step

1. 1Open the Maze Generator.
2. 2Type a title (optional), for example Road Trip Mazes.
3. 3Choose a difficulty: Easy (12×12), Medium (22×28) or Hard (40×50).
4. 4Pick how many mazes you want and a paper size — 6×9 and 7×10 are book sizes.
5. 5Press Generate. Every maze has exactly one path from start to finish.
6. 6Turn on Show solution in preview to check the path; the PDF includes solution keys.
7. 7With Plus, add a page theme, remove the credit line and add your own byline.
8. 8Press Download PDF, then Create your free link to share a playable page and QR code.

Here's how to make a maze. It takes about a minute. Give it a title, if you like. Then pick a level. Easy is twelve by twelve. Hard is forty by fifty. Choose how many. Five means five different mazes. Pick six by nine for a K-D-P book page. Click Generate. Every maze has exactly one way through. Flip on the solution to check it. The solution key is free. Plus adds page themes, like Summer Sun. You can drop the small credit line, and add your own byline. Everything else you just saw is free. Download, and all five mazes come in one PDF, with their keys. You also get a free play link and a QR code. And there's your maze, ready to print, with the solution keys at the back. Someone's already found the way out.
