Forces and Motion Word Search
Find 15 forces and motion words hidden in the grid
Fifteen forces and motion words, from push, pull, gravity and friction to inertia, velocity and acceleration. A force is a push or a pull. When the forces on an object are balanced, its motion does not change; when they are unbalanced, it speeds up, slows down or changes direction. Isaac Newton described these rules in his three laws of motion, published in 1687, and the unit scientists use to measure force, the newton, is named after him. It fits NGSS 3-PS2-1 and MS-PS2-2; print it for grades 3 to 8.

What is a Word Search?
A word search hides a list of words in a grid of letters. Words can run horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Your job is to find and circle each one.
How to solve it
Scan rows and columns for the first letter of each word, then trace in all eight directions. Check off words as you find them.
Who is this for?
Word searches are perfect for all ages, from young students building vocabulary to adults who enjoy a relaxing mental exercise. Teachers use them for vocabulary preview activities, early finishers, and classroom brain breaks.
